"Tobacco's Tragedies"

What if I told you there is a drug accessible today so addictive 9 out of 10 first-time users will use it again?

Most will never be able to quit, and half of them will die from its use!

First-time users are almost always children who have rarely been warned of its addictiveness.

As the active ingredient -- a poisonous alkaloid -- enters the brain, first time users experience dizziness, lightheadedness and nausea. Tolerance develops and the user experiences pleasure which, uniquely, ranges from stimulating to tranquilizing.

Dependence ensues and habits change from infrequent to 20 to 40 times or more a day! Withdrawal symptoms begin when the drug's levels lower in the brain, usually 15 to 30 minutes after use. These symptoms are both psychological and physical (i.e. craving, anxiety, headaches, insomnia).

People will neglect food, and beg and steal for the drug. In times of forbiddance people have defied imprisonment, property loss and death to obtain it. People have prostituted themselves and wasted fortunes to acquire it.

This drug has been adulterated with more than 400 poisonous chemicals--such as denatured alcohol, ammonia, urea and formaldehyde--and genetically altered to produce higher levels of the active ingredient.

These chemicals, and its own natural poison, make this the most deadly substance known to man! For every death from cocaine or heroin use, 100 people die from the abuse of this drug -- tobacco!

Every year billions of pounds of this drug are sold legally in America.

TOBACCO IS THE HYPOCRISY OF THE WAR ON DRUGS!!
