I'm going to sing a little song for all the people in the world tonight
who die before a soul can hear them cry.
And for those who live in fear, because others lives are filled with hate.
I sing this song for every single child.
We've got to try a little love. We've got to reach out our hands sometimes,
and look past our neighbors skin into their eyes.
We've got to tear down every wall until everyone can see the light.
We've got to end this war on man and make things right.

Chorus:
Can't we all get along? Can't we live together?
Can't we all get along? You and me. (That's the way it should be.)
Can't we all get along? We're all needing each other.
Can't we all get along? Why can't we live in peace?

Take a look up at the sky, and look out as far as you can see.
You'll find there's nowhere like this world we know.
Then take a look around at people being gunned down in the streets.
Hey, what's going on?!
Then take a look down in your hearts and see if we can find a way
to at least begin to try and understand.
That there's not a single one who shouldn't feel they have a place
in this wondrous race called man.

(Chorus)

(Repeat 2nd half of 1st verse)
(Repeat Chorus Twice)
Live In Peace!

This song is also on Tender Plant.
