Every morning out of bed and rush to get my card in the clock.
You know I brush my teeth and comb my head right on time so I won't get docked.
Sometimes a glass of juice, a bong or two, no time to catch the morning news.
And on the way I'm thinking God I hope the boss is in a good mood. Yes I do.
`Cause I'm working night and day, and I'm giving everything that I am.
But they're always wanting more, and it's taking everything that I am.
You know it's killing me.

Chorus:
Seven days a week. I give it all I have
Seven days a week. I'm out there busting ass.
Seven days a week. It's `bout to drive me mad.

Back at work my boss, the jerk, he loves to lean and ride on my back.
You know with all that weight and extra freight sometimes I think that I'm gonna crack.
Hey, but I just give more no matter what. Sometimes I think that I must be crazy.
But it's never quite enough and my boss insists that I'm just too lazy. "You're too lazy!"
But I'm working night and day, and I'm giving everything that I am.
But they're always wanting more, and it's taking everything that I am.
You know it's killing me.

(Chorus)

(1st verse)
